Orlando Figes is a globally recognized writer and author of bestselling books entitled “A People’s Tragedy” The Russian Revolution 1891-1924”, “Natasha’s Dance” and “The Whisperers” he is considered as one of the most sought after personalities for his authored works. Orlando born on the 20th of November on 1959 came from a family line of amazing and gifted writers, his mother Eva Figes is a very well celebrated author for publishing 13 works of different categories from novels to non-fiction stories. His sister Kate Figes is also a successful author and editor that have made huge waves across the country, but Orlando sets the difference of his works from his family members, and that is because his passion lies within the core historical system of Russia alone. Orlando graduated at the Cambridge University in 1982 where he took up a degree in history at the Gonville and Caius College, after finishing his collegiate years; he then decided to opt for a Ph Degree in Russian History under the supervision and guidance of Norman Stone.
