Put simply, Dolch Sight Words are the most common words in the English language. They’re a great starting point for learning to read, learning English or recovering reading ability after suffering a brain injury. This video is simple and slow for a reason. Videos with flashier graphics, music and goofy voices are distracting. The pace is roughly one word every 3 seconds… perfect for learning. Tips for using this video: Have the learner watch the video through a few times repeating the words. After the learner starts to learn a few of the words, start muting the volume so they’re forced to read instead of listening. If you find the video helpful, check out my other offerings.
